Governor Bours was born in Ciudad Obregon, Sonora on December 17, 1956.
He comes from a very united family of well-known honorability and commitment.
He inherited from his father, Javier R. Bours Almada, an enterprising man of integrity and social sensibility, a vocation for business and a spirit of service.
From his mother, Alma Castelo, a woman dedicated to her family and committed to family values, he received an education based on love and solid ethical and moral principles that have undoubtedly been fundamental to his conduct within the community, his family and among his friends.
He is married to Lourdes Laborin, with whom he shares the most important personal project in his life: Lourdes, Mario Alfredo, Lorena and Eduardo, his four children.
Together they have striven to instill in them a profound love for their country and a strong work ethic, so that they can someday contribute their own “grain of sand” to the development of their great state and great country.
